Tata arrives at Camp Nou.

Looks like the Spanish press is saying Tata told Zubi that he should target Inter's CB Walter Samuel & his CB from Old Boys' Santiago Vergini to bolster the Barca back line.

I know Samuel is older. I didn't pay too much attention to Inter last season. Can he still play?

The "internets" seem to like Vergini.

Is that Chelsea or Real Madrid? Could have gone with something better.

Don't like.

Man U's away kit - ehhh as well. Checkerboard? No Thanks.

PSG's away kit is nice tho.

:lol Yup I just read that. Crazy if they weren't in for him but ya'll are apparently so big on Cesc. Thiago has/had a better chance of joining than Cesc imo.

Here is the article for anyone who wants to read it...

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8840791/

we need to forget about these dreams of Cesc. I figured we'll probably sign Fellaini, but even that's not guaranteed.

But If I'm correct, even Fellaini's clause is closing soon, and still not a single formal bid has been made.

How on earth can you let Thiago wave his SOS sign all over the media, and not even put in a single bid, but then try and go after one of Barcelonas prized possessions??

You really think Fellaini would do well playing for Man U? I think his antics & oafish play is ok at a club like Everton where just finishing top 10 is great, but him playing for a club challenging for trophies year in & year out? :rolleyes

Yes.

You call it oafish. I call it bullying. The guy is a menace. Corners and free kicks are always dangerous with him around. He bosses the midfield, can dictate the play, tackle and step up when needed. Plus he's only 25, he has time to mature as well. There are different kinds of midfielders needed, and he is one of the types that United could deal with right now.

Would you be interested in a bridge? I'll sell it real cheap... :lol

That's a generous assessment but if you think he could help the Red Devils, then have at it.

Is the press making up this Kagawa bit making him sound like he's unhappy & wants to return to BVB?

I'm not saying Fellaini is the greatest midfielder out there, but look at him last year, he did everything I'm talking about. Look at the Everton United match too.

I think Kagawa is fine where he is. These rumors are popping up after Klopp said he would love to see Kagawa back, and rates him so highly and is frustrated watching him play out of position. I think the media is gassing up the situation. He'll be playing in his position this season.

Wow can't believe Man U didn't try to make a move for Thiago.

Press made it seem like they were in negotiations and Pep came outta nowhere with the mean swoop.

Ronnie, Lio, & Sammy :smokin.... Congrats to Ronnie (to Cuca too). Wish I could've seen the Copa Libertadores.

No...

Panama sucks

Mexico sucked more.

FUERA chepo!!!!!!!!!

Dude you guys should hire LaVolpe. Actually beg him to come back. He was the best coach Mexico has had recently. With LaVolpe In Germany 2006 you guys played us hard and took us to overtime. You guys also flew through the hexagonal with room to spare. The WC group stage was also good for Mexico and if not for Maxi Lopez you guys may have gone to the Qtrs finals. All the other guys like Aguirre and La Puente were mediocre. Oh the USA 94 coach was good too... Mejia Baron I think was his name.

@FrenchFtWeekly Report: @EurosportCom_EN say Toulouse have accepted £8.6m offer from Cardiff for Etienne Capoue.

Agree 100% Fellaini proven to be one of the most impactful midfielders in the EPL and hasn't even reached his peak.

Where lavolpe at anyway? is he still working in mexico?

@redditsoccer Norwich agree fee with Celtic for Gary Hooper and striker will have medical today #SSN

deserves a better club, but like we've discussed on twitter already, norwich have been making moves

Nathan Redmond
Leroy Fer
Ricky Van Wolfswinkel
Martin Olsson

and if hooper comes

Lavolpe was the same moron who left out Mexico's best player at the time and took guys like guille Franco and kikin fonseca and worse, started osvaldo sanchez so who knows what his dumb *** would do if given the chance to coach Mexico again. He'd probably leave out chicharito and bring in more "nationalized" players. I'd take Lapuente, shoot, I'd take aguirre again over that moron
