The Ultimate Soccer Thread 2012-2013 Vol. 3 Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga etc

that was like splitting the double team off a pick&roll. his handles are so ******ed, wow

I'd be surprised if Chepo goes anywhere. FMF or someone needs to pressure him to play the young guys in the middle. Apparently the BBC was making jokes about Torrado's age. :lol

man, mexico is such **** right now. Chepo substituting the wrong people and the players not having any hunger. That Olympic coach should take over the NT and make use of the young players on the bench. I'm sure they'll have more drive than the current line up.

It was the perfect time to let the young guys get some valuable time but he didn't do it. Thank god the next WCQ game isn't till the fall bc they need to regroup BIG TIME

Crazy that the difference in the scoreline was 2 moments of brilliance by a world class talent. A weak footed volley and that wonderful split of the defenders in an absurdly tight space.

Still don't get how many people here are predicting him to be a bust. Seems more like typical anti-hypebeast/contrarian behavior than people actually believing it. He's got the talent and he's also going to have all the right people around him at Barca to develop it. Which is a scary thing because of how good he already is.

If Thiago had played just one more game for Barca his buyout clause would've gone up from 18mil to 90mil :lol

Madrid should trigger his release clause.

Not that he'd ever leave for the Bernabeu.

Seems like we're focusing on Isco, Bale, and Suarez.

Calling the Japan upset over Italy, 1-0.

Prediction: Kagawa draws a foul outside the 18. Honda scores the FK.

^Well, you were off by a few letters. Honda with the PK.

Buffon won the ball there. BS penalty :{ .

Got damn... Kagawa hitting the back of the net making it 2 - nil Japan before the half... Wow... 2009 repeat???

MOTM so far: Kagawa. Wonder strike with his left. Chiellini nearly fouled him too.

Giovinco with poor reaction time after coming on for Aquilani.

Mario looks ready to snap at any moment. Mercurial.

He's done well to threaten in the attacking third with limited service and possession from the midfield. Rare for Italy with DDR and Beard Pirlo pulling the strings.

With the US playing last night and Italy today I can't help but think of Giusseppe Rossi deciding to play for Italy instead of the US.

After cracking the team when he was younger he musta thought he was going to be a lock to make it for years. Now he can't even make the subs. You gotta think he's going to be regretting that decision after not making the euro squad and most likely not going to ever play a World Cup match.

Just got back to see the Italy goal, surprised Japan is up but that def wasn't a pk :lol

Mexico would have to beat Japan by how many for them to go through? They haven't scored from the run of play in a long time...they're finished
