Not sure of Minala's playing abilities to comment on whether or not he's a beast on the pitch. Just looking at his face though, he doesn't look remotely 17, hard life of not. The news site in his native Senegal says they have childhood friends that have said he's 37.

Reports from Africa said he revealed his age as 41 in the past. His agent is claiming a "difficult childhood" to deflect attention or responsibility for the gaffe.

Sweet redemption for Mario after the tears and public humiliation. Short memory of an athlete.

Damn, Fulham sacked Rene... :\

I was hoping he'd work out...
Magath appointed on a 18-month contract.

Jurgen Klinsmann’s highly-publicized recruitment of Bayern Munich youngster Julian Green has kicked into a new gear, and appears to be gaining some traction.

U.S. Soccer confirmed to Goal.com on Friday evening that Green had agreed to train with the USMNT for two days in the run-up to the March 5 friendly at Ukraine. The development occurred after U.S. assistant coach Andi Herzog traveled to Munich to meet with Green in person to discuss the potential training stint.

While Green has agreed to train with the U.S. team, he is not yet in the process of filing for a one-time association switch, which he would need to play for the United States. At present, Green is tied to Germany after representing the Germans on the youth level, but if he filed a one-time switch he would be permanently tied to the United States

Balo is capable of the sublime but he can also be a turd... I hope the young man gets it together because he could easily be a top 5 player if he wants to.

We know Mario despised Mou. If Mancini couldn't reign Balotelli in, nobody can. Somebody that was considered a father figure to Mario.

In training he would also come up behind teammates and pull their legs from underneath them to watch them fall while laughing. Also made humor with penis shaped objects, I believe in Italy's training. He's content with relying on his God given talent.
