SANR stands for Sapphire (SA) Noir (NR).

Hey guys - I bought an Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II (style: R16710N30B7879 - all black bezel) pre-covid and now I've gotten too fat to wear it and need extra links. Where can I buy some online that are authentic Rolex Links?

Is authenticwatches.com legit? I'm assuming the916company is legit since it's been reference on here. I spoke to authenticwatches over the phone and they told me that my watch is vintage, therefore the links i need may be on the high-ish side ($300.00/link). Is this true?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, what does the 'R' stand for?

Is it the older reference with the aluminum bezel? The 16710 and not the 116710 with the ceramic?

You can try going to the AD or RSC and they may be able to order it for you if they don't have it on hand. It's not an extremely old reference.

but 12.5mm thick in comparison to the tudor and jlc which is 10mm

also kinda nuts the tudor cheaper than longines too

honestly just waiting for the FC moneta to go on sale


its quartz but 37mm x 7.65mm is such a good size... just gotta find it at around $800

I really like the look of this piece although it reminds me of a mix between a sub, fifty fathoms and unimatic. The finishing looks a little harsh as well. I'll wait and see if the reviews are positive if so I'll try and pick one up.

those should all be 40mm

the sub looks like the prior 40mm, doesnt have the slimmer lugs but if its the latest then its 41mm

Both GMTs are 40mm the Sub I suspect is a 41. Although not clear if you look underneath the 6 o'clock marker the minute marker underneath is larger than what you'd find on the 40mm. When the 41mm was introduced with the new movement they added a crown between the Swiss and made on the dial.

I went to Heller Jewelers today to get my watch cleaned and purchase the extra links. They didn’t have it in stock and had to order them, and guess what- they were only $52.00 per link. Is that right? I mean it has to be, Heller Jewelers is both an AD and RSC …. I ended up buying two and will decide if I only need 1 when I go back for a fitting.
