My daughter's school set up an event...Said the deadline to sign up was Feb 23rd...Hard deadline. Cool.
I am king procrastinator so I have some ownership in this failure in that I did wait until the communicated deadline...but I call yhe school the morning of the 23rd trying to speak with the teacher who set it up. Am sent to their voicemail. I leave a message. I also send an email.
No responses. No worries. I call back in the afternoon...sent to voicemail again. OK. I go up to the school and teacher is gone. Ah well.
Tell my daughter, hey ask the teacher if we can still sign up. My daughter talks to them and they tell my daughter that they've responded to my email.
They did...on the 25th...and said everyone had to sign up by the 20th since the hard deadline date is the 23rd.
Wait, what? Was it the 20th or 23rd? And these are the folks communicating curriculum to our kids. Yikes.
