I said “Ant refusing to suit up until ICE left Minnesota” would have a positive snowball effect. That’s not the same as what you’re saying.
But to answer your “what happens next?” question, same sentiment. Wemby speaking out, high profile athletes tweeting, leads to more speaking out, and maybe the NBA puts a banner on a playoff game court.
The **** you mean? Change doesn’t happen overnight. The more people spreading awareness and calling for accountability, the better. Tweet, fund an army, tap dance, go to protests, whatever man. Representation matters.

The less drinking in history? Since when have these stats been reported? It feels like you are falling into your own dilemma trying to prove a point. It is like saying, 'now is the most critical time in history.' Just because sales are down in LV and everywhere throughout does not mean Gen Z is not drinking less. Maybe they are drinking out the country? You are merely looking at it through your Americanized canon.

I also said it would be powerful of these guys decided not to play, not just "speak out".
And I dont have the answer for what's next. Short of laying out demands of what it would take to get the players back on the floor. And that would take a lot of coordination with a lot of folks.

Similar to the convo that took place during the Bubble as far as if players should ever sit out, it comes down to there being way too many varying levels of job security on NBA Rosters.
You got stars, established folks, vets, and folks clawing their nails to stay on a roster. For that fact alone (as well as how much $ they are making) it would be tough to ever imagine a large voluntary work stoppage in the name of social justice.
It would be ideal but too many people view being in a pro sports roster a once in a lifetime shot to ever potentially squander that shot.
