Maybe it's just my corner of social media but I've seen people losing their minds and getting very judgmental about this clip. Head coach of the Seattle Seahawks basically says he only sees his newborn child for a couple of minutes every week because he is working.

A lot of successful people (investment bankers, MBB consultants, big law partners and tech founders) work 12-14 hours per day during high crunch, high stress periods. It's not as uncommon as people think. It's just rare for people to come out and say they are working this many hours.

Also, NFL coaches have long off seasons where they can spend time with their family. They are mostly off for about half the year.

I know guys who work on commercial shipping vessels who are 6 months on, 6 months off and don't see their families at all for half the year and they do it for a whole lot less than $9M
