the thread about nothing...

If I wasn't a longtime friend, sure. He doesn't seem like the type of guy to get violent or anything but I guess that's always a possibility.
If anything, I could lower my contact with her for a while until she eventually dumps him. She said she got pretty heated to him about trying to control her friendships so unless he changes course, it's probably over for him soon anyway. Doesn't necessarily stop him from blaming me though unless he can see what he did wrong.
Man you NEVER know what folks are capable of, so for your own SAFETY it makes the most sense to limit your potential contact with crazy.

If a girl has a dude, just leave her alone.

Him being controlling, jealous, or whatever way you want to describe him has nothing to do with YOU doing what's best for YOU.

Doing what's best for you is staying alive/safe.

That's all I'm saying to you.

Male jealousy is universal.

Dude has a problem with @columbia dealing with his woman, so it's best practice to fall back.

I don't need to live in the culture to understand how to stay safe.

If you disagree, cool.
First of all, jealously is universal. Not really sure why gender plays a role into this matter. I guess you didn't learn that during your women's basketball coaching days?

Second, Columbia isn't 'dealing,' with his girl, they are just hanging out from what it seems like. Unless Columbia is being dishonest, then there is no reason for this guy to think these matters. We don't know if Columbia hangs out with girls that have boyfriends just to 'stir up the pot.'

I agree that any drama that is starting from borrowing pearl earrings is not worth my life.

And it is about understanding cultures and subcultures. Since in this world we live in, there are many of them. Reminds of the quote, 'tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are.'

The story of Otto Warmbier is still a strange one. Bottom line is you don’t take a vacation to North Korea. Just watching a Fern video on YouTube.

People get away with what they know they can.
In this case, as long as a dude knows he'll keep getting away with immature possessiveness, he'll keep being immaturely possessive.
Once he starts seeing that people won't put up with it, he'll figure out whether he wants to be bitter or better.
Ideally.

A lot of pointless typing to say you agree with me.

Move on man.

I dont know you and I dont take what you share in your posts as a clear cut indication of who you are or what you do.

That said, you've definitely posted some eyebrow raising scenarios about female/platonic friends. The one that sticks out is you sleeping in the same bed as a female friend (who had a bf at the time...watxh, im probably misrembering all of this lol). I fully understand how innocent sharing a bed can be. But, imo, that doesnt matter. Thats a line crossed. And you didnt seem to see it that way. And that makes me wonder if you havr blinders up about other boundaries that maybe should be considered. Not saying what they are or that they cant be crossed. Be definitely considered.

To whom it may concern, saw this dangling from the power line by Kendall & 162 across Burger King.

Not sure if this poses a risk so you can fix it. What are those things anyways?

Why do you generally hate influencers?
I'll go ahead and maybe make this really short, really quick by saying:
It's definitely a me problem.
I mean successful influencers obviously have literally millions of people following them, so... it's a me thing.

But to actually give an answer to your question: I have always turned my nose up at 'center of attention' types.

Do you believe celebrities in general are "center of attention" types ? Why/why not?

If yes (or anything close to yes) do you also generally hate celebrities?

No way. Just as a general statement?
Nah.
To me, a celebrity is mostly just somebody really good at something very marketable.
Darius Rucker is a celebrity. Luka Doncic is a celebrity. Shohei Ohtani, Adele, Denzel, James McAvoy; all great at what they do and what they do is something very marketable.
Someone being well-known doesn't automatically mean that they are a 'center of attention' type, so just being a celebrity doesn't make someone that type.
There are celebrities who I do recognize as center of attention types, (Mr. Beast), and celebrities that I can tell could care less about the center of attention but they are very good at what they do, and what they do is very marketable (Giannis).
