the thread about nothing...

This brought a tear of joy, NGL.
I'm glad you separated those 2 things: crypto... OR... a sound investment.
Exactly.
Absolutely because we know crypto is NOT a sound investment lol

And that’s the crazy thing about OBJ specifically like bruh your contract went into Bitcoin back when it was no where near the price it is now wtf happened to that

I guess all this sports media about athletes going broke are like gangsta movies to drug dealers they just convince themselves it won’t happen to them and they won’t make the same mistakes
I forgot he was one of the ones who wanted a percentage of their salary going to Bitcoin (I feel like it was an NBAer that did the same as well)

The goal is to make it big in the league but never a plan after the league, especially if you get a career ending injury

It is to many examples for these athletes to do no kind of financial planning

I legit think.. this is my problem..

And let’s keep it a buck
We always been in the culture of despising rich people (depending on who it is)
I only despise the ones who blow the opportunity while not even trying to acknowledge some missteps

I hope the youngsters that get a NIL bag do better

Noooo..."we" have not. Word to hip-hop

Im probably going to post this in the unpopular opinion thread but I've always thought people with this train of thought are just jealous. Especially, the "There should be no billionaires" people. You've never heard anyone ever remotely close to being on the path of becoming a million/billionaire say something like that. If a person had an idea or product that improved people's quality of life even in the tiniest of ways and everyone bought, they deserved what they got. Do you expect these people to stop selling said product? 'Well they should help the poor..", you have to get to a point where you can first. Theres no logic other than jealousy behind it.
