IDC how much the internet tries to spin it
OBJ mismanaged 100 mil and that’s ok to say we seen it before
We are just trying to figure out in a era that we are in how do they still do this
All the documentaries and ect
They still do it

****** online talking about we don’t understand the more money you make the more things cost
Huhhhhh ??????

They don't take taxes out of player's checks like they do regular people?

Even if they don’t I’m sure their are resources that will take care of that
I’m just not going to be the person that tries to understand how tf you fumble 100 million I’m just not going to do that
If the average person won that in the lottery and blew it the only excuse they would get is the fact they never had that money before
But OBJ been in the league for years and now he’s telling us he didn’t make enough

No fr.
Whether you have a $100M or
$3.74, the price of a Lamborghini is still the same.
Some NBA player or former NBA player pushes a 99 Tahoe.
I want to say Kawhi.
Maybe Big Fundamental?

Exactly that why this whole narrative of
“Well the more money he makes the more things cost” falls flat
Unless it has something to do with body conditioning with sports
I don’t see how it’s cost you more vs the average person

You could put $150k a year towards a personal chef for TWENTY years... and that would be just 3 of your $100mil.
And obviously with a $150k chef, your eating would be tailored to exactly what you need as a professional athlete.

i’d think there is some truth to that idea, just off the strength that most people tend to live at if not just above their means & not below them…it is said a good amount of people are living paycheck to paycheck across income brackets…then add to that these folk that get that type of money relatively young are usually the 1st to get this type of ‘theoretical’ stability often become the bankroll (house for mom, paying sibling school, funding aunt business, or cousin’s ‘investment’ scheme, etc.) for their family such that expenses compound that much more quickly

I think we understand the logistics.
Still, that's a budgeting problem, not a dollar amount problem.

These ****** don’t have financial advisors or accountants??

No thoughts to put some of that money into crypto or a sound investment??

Nobody in your circle telling you not to blow a bag on 10 whips and a hella iced out jewelry??

From what I understand the NFL is notorious for pretty much setting up all these players to fail. Conversely, according to Ol' Gilbert the NBA has ol players that (try)to tell these guys about the 0's and all.

It’s as if they want us to forget that they were once a college student would didn’t need all that to become a pro athlete in the first place
He should have just kept it 100 and said he did to much partying and over spending

And that’s the crazy thing about OBJ specifically like bruh your contract went into Bitcoin back when it was no where near the price it is now wtf happened to that

I guess all this sports media about athletes going broke are like gangsta movies to drug dealers they just convince themselves it won’t happen to them and they won’t make the same mistakes
