I got a co-worker that leaves early but it’s the exact opposite. Homie is hella lazy, never gets anything out on time and is constantly away from his desk just roaming and socializing with any and everybody. Dude is annoying. First one in and first one to leave everyday while accomplishing the least. I wouldn’t give af if he actually got his work done and things out the door on time, but he just walks out nonchalant while our boss asks the rest of the team to help get his unfinished tasks to the finish line. Dude should have been fired a year ago for being a bum at his job. He addresses me as his boss despite being colleagues because he knows he’s getting left behind by the rest of the team. Homie is a glorified clock rider stealing a 6 figure salary.
But I say that to say I feel, take your experience and find a more comfortable environment with an even higher salary. If a SoCal or South Florida re-location opportunity presents itself I’m probably getting transferring.
See in the opposite, I don’t talk to anyone and don’t stop working except for a 15 minute lunch and then I’m back to it trying to get done while these guys are off bs’ing and watching reels all day.
I like them but bruh I want to go home, I like my family more. Plus the owners let me cook so that rubs them the wrong way because I actually have a back bone and say no I’m good I’ll do it tomorrow.
I work in the winter and they don’t so they want to milk the clock where idc because I’m getting paid all winter.
And yeah I got my eyes set on a job with a set schedule, higher pay and lots of pto. I’ve outgrown my job basically, I’m not interested in “grinding”. They start hiring in the fall and are asking me to apply so I think I got it.
