I was suspicious that my friend was mad at me, but I had no clue why. He went from super chatty and wanting to hang out to giving one word replies all the time and I could tell he wasn’t interested in talking to me. I’ve known him since high school, but we became good friends when we reconnected 3 years ago.

It was bothering me, so I called and asked him about this. Basically he found a friend group, so he hasn’t cared to keep in touch. I have my own friend group as well, so I understand being busy with them. But man has made no attempts at all. He sounded disinterested when I called him too and he didn’t seem sorry either.

I gave him so much support always being there for him when he was going through job and family troubles. I guess that meant nothing to him though. Ngl I feel used, hanging out with him was performative.

At the end of the day I can’t control how he feels so I just gotta move on and let this fade out. Anyway rant over
