I haven't been scared of a dog or potential dangerous interaction with a loose dog in decades. The ones that have been unleashed come to me wagging their tails in a playful manor. Lucky streak.

But foreal though, I've had owners ask me if I own a dog. I tell them "no, not currently" which is true. They'll say something like "My dog doesn't like strangers" while their does sits right next to me. I won't pet them though, not trying to push my luck. Last thing I want to do is take some rabies shot or something.

I feel apartment buildings make it easier for that to happen
cause with houses and those type neighborhoods, usually people arent single
(but probably doesnt stop them from getting it crackin lol)
