What is all this streamers university stuff?
Basically it's a sort of blend of streaming and reality tv. It's a concept created and run by Kai Cenat, the #1 streamer on Twitch.
Basically he rented out a massive college-like location and invited a bunch of content creators (both established and growing) to 'enroll.'
A bunch of established streamers were also brought in to be 'professors' and teach classes. Obviously not the most serious, like person x might be hosting "Internet beef 101" or something.

Everyone's allowed to stream 24/7. So the idea is basically to create a wild environment that seems more like a reality show than what you'd typically expect from a Twitch stream. With everyone streaming, there's always 'content' to be found somewhere.

It's not what I would watch on Twitch but I can definitely appreciate the vision. Kai Cenat's doing things with streaming no one has done before and seems like a decent dude.
I don't see any significant way to not grow your career from being invited there unless you're just an insufferable person.

I imagine the revenue from Kai's own stream probably can probably pay for this event on his own but then again, this is the largest thing he's ever set up and he obviously has a team behind him.
Many of the streamers would gladly accept an invite just accepting clout as currency so it's not necessarily a guarantee participating streamers were paid a nice bag.

the production effort & quality is high key impressive

It still made songs that I liked. That would be enough for me, unless he pulled some ******** and started playing his new music.
