i don’t know if it’s always been this way, but definitely since i can remember being aware of convos about marriage being in the mix amongst my friend groups it always struck me how generally men saw it as a responsibility such that it would in some ways make their life rewarding but definitely more difficult in many ways whereas the women never seem to frame it as anything other than making their own lives easier, not that they didn’t expect any hardship(s) but their expectations were less what was expected of them (other than motherhood, which men today are way more involved than our forefathers)

I’m partial to the modern network classics Wheel of Fortune, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire… and old Chuck Woolery Lingo/Anne Robinson Weakest Link (those latter two I don’t see on GSN anymore).

Not a true-form game show but I was into The Hustler with Craig Ferguson that came out during the pandemic on Fox… but that s got cancelled
