Experienced a panic attack for the first time while getting an MRI yesterday. One of the scariest things I've ever gone through. I get anxious just thinking about it.

Similar thing happened to my dad. Had to back out and re-book. Took 2 Ativan before this time and he was able to do it. He said he won't do it again. Pretty common actually.

Ya he might be. Hates Planes, elevators and now MRI's. He had a CT scan not long ago and said it was no issue since your whole body doesn't go in.

I was good until the last 3 min. The tech started talking to me at that point to let me know how long I had left and I think it threw off my focus. The walls felt like they were closing in and I started to have trouble breathing.
