Lmao I don't blame you. People who're talkers like I mean like those that can talk up a storm...you gotta avoid em like the plague that they are. Exchanging pleasantries & choppin it up bout this & that is one thing but when your reply to my "hey how you doin?" Is to tell me literally everything that has happened to you in the past day or two for minutes at a time...nah I'm good. In NYC & I'm sure a place as packed & hectic as Cali too a "how are ya?" "Wassup" or "How you livin?" Is a simple 3 second exchange between 2 people & that is it! You keep it moving lol. Like don't stand there telling me your life story & expect me to stay put & listen to your ****

That cat I was talking about always bugs me because he doesn’t give you a chance to smoothly interrupt so that you can make your exit. I end up looking for any excuse to walk off I end up telling my sister “I hate your choice in men. The **** is wrong with you?”

A lot of seniors in my work building are like that- they got no one to talk to, some I've never seen have friends or family visit them. They usually hate their hospice too lol. I try to be polite & give em a min or two but gotta be careful because it's like you give em a hand & they wanna grab onto your entire arm. I have a job to do so bye bye lol

done that and it works and as long as you are firm with getting out of there. there are patients that are like that and knowing they just needed some companion. the most effective excuse is always go for the crapper. saying it frank and the need for urgency whether they like it or not is that people need to respect and oblige to it. on the otherhand, if it was an attractive lady that's been taking my time, I wouldn't mind staying there. funny part is, I got two co-workers who are seem to be that close and the damn woman couldn't even focus with her job. I wouldn't mind them having convo but come on, I'm not there to do their job inorder for them to have the whole shift talking to each other.
