I sat my *** outside for quite awhile to hand out candy, and I watched some parents direct their children to what they believe to be “more favorable”houses, cool with me, I took my candy back in the house, and mobbed to Wingstop.

they showed up in waves…like seven or eight groups of like eight+ kids, cant complain because handing out candy for groups is better than getting up every few mins

can't do it this year yet. just being safe for now til the kids under 12 get the jab. it's been 2 years now of non-trick or treating.

This might be a reach. But I feel like people who openly post on social media that they pass out full size candy bars to trick-or-treaters, are virtue signaling.

So my wife and I are in a townhouse that is in a separated street if that makes sense. Like there is the main street that is on our street address but then you have to turn into a small section to get to our house...total of like 10 homes down that section. And we're one of 3 sections on this street like that.
Anywho, my wife was also thirsty to pass **** out. We had two visitors show up while she was out there...both classmates of my daughter.
So says **** it, goes out to make a run but leaves tue buckets on the porch with a sign saying help yourself. She comes back from her run, bucket empty. She fills it back up...no one shows up. She goes inside, heads out after 20 or so mins...bucket empty again.
Emptied the bucket a 3rd time with no one out there.
Dont know, or care, what that was about.

Nah, cuz folks were happily trick or treating just down the block.
I'm willing to chalk it up to the location of my home, except that would mean I need to ignore the 3 times the bucket got emptied.
