the paybacks vary from days to weeks never the next day or anything which aint bad i get it

most time i get excuses tbh which really bothers me esp if someone says to you i got you tomorrow.. that day comes and its rinse and repeat

also id be lying if i said i knew what it was for if i had to guess maybe weed, beer and food ? normally its like $100, $50 or $30 but before that it used to be more

its very odd situation man and hard for me to explain it all cause its so confusing to me

it truly just grinds my gears i dont know why honestly

like it deff aint no crazy emergency its just him trying to get by on a day to day basis IMO

you are doing too much fam. I would sever any existing relationship with that person forever. that person is a parasite. I remember loaning a lot of money to someone close to us ages ago. I would constantly send money every month to that person so she could get her life straight and get her bearing back. the painful thing was, I just learned about such falsehood and betrayal from another source of what was actually happening (supporting a boytoy). upon learning that, I immediately cut all communications with that person. sickest part is, without her knowledge that I already know the truth, kept on with the charade of her need. I guess after repeated attempts to contact me, she finally got the message or figured it out or possibly because I let her family know what she was doing. possibly she was also confronted. I was really disappointed that such a person as close as that could actually do it to you. I was normally a hospitable guy that would typically help anyone without question. life has taught me to be careful and make sure that everything is money worth giving.

Were those the shoes you picked up at the event and if so, how were the prices? Want to go to a sneaker convention someday...wouldn't make sense to go and not pick up at least one pair of shoes.

I didn't know sneakercon was still occurring, used to find all kinds of dope **** at fair prices till everybody tried to get rich. Got one of my favorite sb dunks ever the second time I attended one

got a friend who thinks im a damn ATM

i got np helping homies out but this been going on for about 5+ Years.. we grown men and i am just tired of this ****

im always getting text like "No big Deal but" can i get .... its like the only time he hits me up

Hes always saying he got such and such to other people but yet asking me $$?

i just been leaving the convo on ignore

AITA ?

dont get me wrong hell eventually pay back at some point but why should i be his personal ATM
Unless it's putting a financial strain on you, it wouldn't bother me. I rarely asked for financial assistance as is, but would always want someone to look out for me in a time of need(said friend might not be able to do so, but still).

This also depends on the type of friendship it is however.

I no longer go to sneakercon. sneakercon pretty much lived to what it's name sake is now, Sneaker Conning. it's pretty much a waste of time now. I'd rather go to an outlet buying the same shoe for way lesser price.

I still think it'll be a fun event to go to for networking or even entertainment purposes. But yeah as far as pricing, at least on YouTube videos, some sellers were definitely taxing or at best charging a little over StockX prices.

The goal used to be to come home with less pairs than what was transported with you as a seller. **** changed though

walkingBred walkingBred Not bad for 100 mile wear on them. The cushion has to be thin by now, no? Consider getting new insoles.
Cushion doesn't really get thin. But outsole will lose bounce & comfort around 150-200 miles. I usually put about 200 miles on em before they're done. They can go a little more but I start to feel it in my knees.

Ahh I see. But don’t new insoles help out with the knee stuff? I’ve seen some insoles that are made of adidas boost. Not sure if that would ring out a few more miles of running out of your shoes.

Never tried replacing insoles before. The outsole takes most of the absorption and shock tho. That's where all the tech is. Once they go dead the shoe is pretty much done.

those are just for step-in comfort. if you want mileage and knee protection, you need a good midsole.

the outsole and it's compound also helps with the shock, but it is mainly the midsole. I've got shoes with pretty much worn-down outsole but the midsole is still intact. I found them to still good. some runners with collapsed midsole, now those have no cushion at all.

No. I didnt purchase anything. Brought 5 kicks. Sold 2. Traded 1. What's in the pic was trade bait.

Check out sneakercon IG. They're always traveling across the us doing these events.

I've remember going to one called WhatShoeWant expo in Carson Ca and it wasn't the biggest but one of the best I've been to. Sold a lot of heat there...
