the thread about nothing...

Dads Rob Christensen and Patrick Stevens went fishing about 30 miles offshore of the Middle Keys on Aug. 17 — a last hurrah before the start of the school year — with their kids. They were targeting swordfish, but didn’t catch any. They did catch some mahi, some tilefish, and one duffel’s worth of “square grouper.” Yes, a duffel bag filled with 10 to 15 bundles of marijuana. Naturally, these law-abiding citizens (one of them is a lawyer!) called the Coast Guard to retrieve the bag intact. Sources close to the encounter, however, said the marijuana “smelled phenomenal.”

The marijuana is a hero! Saved the swordfish’s life!

for the longest time, I haven't really tasted Smirnoff.
Same here, it's been years and I have absolutely no regrets
I don't like all alcohols at all, and when it comes to vodka it's even worse, I thought I didn't like vodka because of Smirnoff and maybe other(s) one(s) then I bought a good affordable one years ago, it was actually good, Eristoff I think (at least there was a wolf on it).
My favorite alcohols nowadays are Aberlour A'Bunadh, which I'm considering buying a bottle some day, as it's been years without tasting it, and a lot of rums, as long as it is a dark rum.
Arranged rums with vanilla or banana are the worst because it's very good and with these aromas you don't feel like you're drinking alcohol, very devious way of finishing drunk
And Desperados of course (mix of beer and tequila), this one is perfect as it's only 4 % I think, and one of the pleasures with alcohol could be to take a very little and let it melt for strong ones, or drink a lot of them for soft ones. I used to stop alcohol for years but since a few months I think I went back to it, quite funny to observe depending of which alcohol I could do not care or care a lot. I have some bottles for years I don't care about, because only a sip disgusts me more than anything...

Among the worst alcohols I ever drank there are some cheap bottle of Calvados, and a vodka from Lidl (hard discount) at 6 euros
Could also add Ricard, disgusting, mixed with Coca Cola it has licorice taste, horrible. These 3 ones could help to never ever drink again

EDIT : I also have an Armagnac bottle since years, it's not bad but it's not a big deal either.
A good souvenir of my only bottle of Cognac I ever had, and my only one of Ballantine's 21 yo

If I had to chose between those 2 costy bottles, 21 yo without any hesitation, not necessary found of any old alcohol as I tasted old Aberlour and still prefer A'Bunadh (even if 18 yo was my second choice...) but this 21 yo have nothing to do with regular Ballantine's, I drank it directly from the bottle, a real good one, no mix with no soda, no water, nothing

What ia the term used to describe when a business or company sells something at a loss but hope they make up for in in other areas? For example, Sony takes a hit in PS5 systems but actually makes money from the games.

not particulartly fond of beers but could tolerate it. I do have a favorite and that was the only one that I would drink without having any regrets or having a massive hangover. I'm more into brandy, gin, whiskey. I still haven't grown into rum but only because I was traumatized by drinking a really bad one like tasted and smelt like cat piss. it was so disgusting that even mentioning the word "rum" would make me vomit. having said that, I did however tasted a good one about a month ago in a party.

also, I sometimes spike my coffee with alcohol at work. I bring my own coffee. damn real good.

I type "dra" in the toolbar b/c I randomly remember argue about something in the Drake page & I clicked on Draya's page by accident :smh: ****** up my flow b/c I knew I was gonna scroll down to see what's good b/c its me and thats Draya. And now I forgot my whole argument, now I only got "Take Care is better."

My women or my weakness? Who cares.

The reality is alive and thriving... That water will hit like hail when I dive in.

Yes, I used to have a period while I was sipping " gin & juice ", it was delicious, plus you could grab good gins for a cheap price
In my opinion rum>whisky>vodka
Vodka could give terrible headaches, like having difficulties to think, whisky makes me thirsty and it happened I had to wake up to drink because of that.
While rum would be the most dangerous for me as it's the one I like the most and I tolerate the most too. That's also why I have to be careful and do not buy other bottles for a while...
Some alcohols are not a danger for me because it takes me years to hardly finish a single bottle (like the Armagnac I have)...
I'm not about beers, Desperados is different, it doesn't taste like simple beer at all. It's really good, and very addictive.
Mixing alcohol with coffee I just can't, I love coffee but the mix is too hard for my stomach, I tried to take an irish coffee once at a restaurant, it was horrible, couldn't finish it...
Like alcohol in food, I don't like it...Also never was interested by wine or alcohols while eating. The way I like alcohol is before or after eating. That's where arranged rums are the bests, giving a sweet taste after a basic meal
Like if you did eat good...but no

I don't know why but I'm focusing on feet's size on the picture a few posts before

Finally watched Subway (1985), and 2 things didn't change : still find Isabelle Adjani a very beautiful and good actress, and Chirstophe Lambert one of the worst french actors we have
And I'm really not the first one to criticize actors freely, so that means a lot...
But about her it's amazing how she succeed to be so good in a film like this, film isn't bad, but it's not very serious, and even if everyone is good, she got a real presence...
