I tried to watch Narcos years ago but fell asleep multiple times. Episodes were too long for me. I did watch Narcos Mexico and enjoyed that so maybe I’ll give Narcos another go

Mexico was great too though. Pablo was just a very interesting character you easily gravitate towards.

Lost interest in Narcos the minute Escobar got killed. I tried watching like 4 episodes before I gave up on it. That first season was special though

I used to prefer Breaking Bad to Better Call Saul but that totally changed with time, what is great with Better Call Saul is it's not about normal people having criminal activities, but more subtile in my opinion, plus I prefer characters from Better Call Saul. For different reasons both Walt and Jesse annoyed me sometimes. While both Saul and Mike are perfect characters according to me. I'm not a fan of Narcos, just watched the first season. That's where Breaking Bad is more for me, normal people until they start doing ####. And Better Call Saul is even more immersive for me : a lawyer. Very legal in theory so easy to identify. But there still are great shows with thugs or criminals I could watch, but it's not a lot. Mike is really a nice character, his way of thinking, of being. It compensates a lot irrational behaviours of people around him
He's clever, but in a good way, unlike a lot of characters of both shows
