Immediate regret. Yes coworker is white. He took it in stride, but i know he will look at me funny for the reminder of our work lives together. Just hope it doesnt get twisted and make it's way to HR.

Sometimes when we tell what's on our mind, even if it's not bad it misinterpreted, my girlfriends are always Black, and I'm White, no big deal, but I used to tell it to some Black women and they thought I was some kind of fetichist or weirdo
you can't control the kind you like, Latinas and Black women are my kind, but no Latinas here lol

a couple of questions: why does your coworker care if the athlete has a gf? and two, if for some reason he has hella white fragility and wants to take it to HR, what grounds does he have to file any issue? your comment of "she's white" is objective. and if he really wants to double down, there are plenty of articles that speak to the phenomena/trend you're highlighting. you want to counter, you could say you were uncomfortable with his heteronormative presumption that the athlete was straight and asked "does he have a girlfriend." why can't the athlete be gay?

This is beyond sad. Will we ever see the end of street/rap beef? This is in my hometown. Brazy and another dude been going back and forth shooting up relatives houses. This time it hit a gas line and the house exploded. There's a vid that's very disturbing. It shows a woman, probably a relative, in the front yard of the burning home going HYSTERICAL.

Was told today someone at work has lost his parents because of Covid, the guy used to not wearing mask a few months back, from what I've been told he is the one who contaminated them, so he decided to give up the job. At least, "that's what she said". And I'm still crossing people mask off every day, what a world.
