I’ve lost 2 high school friends I was romantically involved with. Both have passed due to cancer, one at 28 yrs old and the other at 33 who left a 2yr old daughter

Yeah man, it was tough on me even though I moved on. To be honest, I feel guilty that I’m still here and they’re not. Like “will every girl I like meet the same fate?” I’d rather not get too emotionally attached to women from now on. That’s why I’m so light and breezy when it comes to relationships and refuse to get married or have kids. 38 now with zero plans for a family.

I feel you man, I feel bad too because she seemed to be making hella moves in life while I stayed in my lane and cruised. But, this what I take away from situations like this. I gotta keep moving forward and live life wholeheartedly. They would if they were still alive, so I gotta value my time on this world.
