When you provide Amazon specific delivery instructions because the front office is closed...And the driver marks the package as 'undeliverable' because the office is closed.

Wtf.

their delivery has gotten worse in my area now that they use their own drivers and not ups

It’s not even really their own drivers. Anyone could sign up to deliver for amazon thru this app called amazon flex. After the credit check they just go to their warehouse to pick up their load/route if it shows there’s route available on that app and deliver it within a certain time frame. Most of those drivers don’t care and as long as they put undeliverable they’re won’t be “let go”. I guess you could say they’re contractors. Kinda like uber or door dash.

Yeah, had to be their 'flex drivers'. Ridiculous.

Reminds me of a crazy story that happened to one of my dad's friend.

Dude had a pro do some work on him in the local park right next to Costco. She did her thing and this fool said he wasn't going to pay, pulled out a pocket knife. She ran out screaming and accidentally left her leather jacket with hanging sleeve tassels in his truck. Anyway, this dummy puts on the jacket and starts bragging to the fellas on what he'd done and how he also got a new jacket. They all laughed and decided to hit up Fatburger which is literally up the street. He's in there eating when all of a sudden that Sepulveda pro walks in with 2 big guys and says ""THAT'S HIM! THE ONE WITH MY JACKET". I heard tables and chairs were thrown, customers ran out, dudes gave an *** whooping, the tassles from the jacket were left all over the place
He aggresively wanted a freebie lol i just dont want a uc.

You left that Target?

Quick update: I just quit that **** at 2:15am. These dudes put me on the line again and had homie screaming on me because the packages were falling to the sides. I'm trying to tell him that I'm covering 10 feet worth of line meanwhile still sorting my 3 areas. Plus, one of the other experienced guys closest to me kept leaving but I didn't want to throw him under the bus. Anyway, this guy kept screaming and shaking his head at me for the smallest thing.

I walked off during the break to talk to some of the newbies who I came in with about how bad it is in there and the lady boss everyone hates comes by to clap her hands at us. Told her I wasn't experienced enough for that pace and she said "okay, you can go if it's not for you. We need people who can move". Mind you, I'm standing in front of her literally covered is sweat. No exaggeration! I just walked away and told her to go work the line since I've never seen her sweat, lol.

I'll walk in to HR later today and fill out paperwork. I have no plans to work for target so it's all good. I was seasonal and had no intention of staying there. Plus, I believe they were going to let us go anyway.

T.U., You did good cuzzo. Not sure if you remember. But i think other ones in here do when i was talking about boss dude that doesn't want me to elevate.. This morning dude came up to me with "Thanks for staying tonight Dubby, You did good man. Thanks for staying and helping." Then shook my hand and went off. All that was because everyone else called out last night or went home early and i stayed past my leaving time.. Like everyother night..... For the past year that ive been there. Right now as we speak im heavily considering becoming an E.M.T/medic and just stick with that until me and my bros get to where we want to be at. Im looking at benefits and the pay I'll be receiving as a 21/22 yr old. 9-5 life has brainwashed this western society and i want no parts of it...

Make that move, bro. Don't hesitate if you feel you're doing the right thing. We can't stay put and take whatever someone else wants to dish out, definitely not while being underpaid. I swear, the extra $1.25 and 10 percent employee discount isn't enough.

Funny thing is, I think the usual cast of backroom workers called out sick so that's why they put me there. Plus, they lied to me about the position I wanted. I was told there was a 4am - 12:30pm slot open but I never got it, just kept sending me to overnight. I just happen to run into one of the girls who works apart from us and she told me she has that only shift slot. It's reserved for building the displays around the store and that she too gets yelled at by her supervisor when they arrive at 9am. She actually felt sorry for us since she sees how hard they run everyone. She already put her 2 weeks notice as well and asked if I wanted it. NOPE
