Would u calling off inconvenience others?
Yeah, it would have been an inconvenience for the worry warts here, but whatever. Monday's are always really busy for the department/team I oversee. I figured to just come in today to make sure I take care of any headaches immediately, instead of doing damage control.

It's cool, though. Been in my office all morning so far and only have one meeting.

I'm 50/50 to the idea of maybe moving the family back to NorCal.

Unsure how that would transpire, but I feel like I'd need to make a career change in order to land a job in the Bay Area. :ohwell:

Really enjoying living in SoCal though. So much to explore.

How's them So Cal bills though? Or is the job good enough that it's not a worry?

I got a speeding ticket today. The trooper said the airplane clocked me at 72 in a 55 but my ticket says 74 in a 55 :lol I only said I’m headed back home but I hit the ticket clinic. Pretty sure they can get it tossed.

What's the ticket clinic?

What's the ticket clinic?
It’s basically like a traffic law firm, they appear on your behalf. Basically lawyers. My boy used them and many people out here have used them too (my boy got his ticket dismissed)

Ah. How much do their services run though?
When I got my first speeding ticket I was considering it but meh

Bills are manageable especially with me being the only one working and my wife caring for our daughter.

One of the key reasons we discussed moving back is to be closer to family for our kids. We'd like them to have more interaction with their cousins and their grandparents. Plus, my wife is really close to her side of the family and would prefer to head back North.

For me, I agree with the family part. But I grew up not being really close to my family. The occasional visits is good enough for me lol.

Maybe you'll grow close to her family.
