Father had to get a job for the first time in 15 years , to finish paying for a new bar
Was with him the other day and he was saying how bad his back been hurting But the job pays good
Today had to go to the hospital , come to find out he has pneumonia, only been at the job a week too
Feel terrible.

Went to the crib to get my father to take him to the Dr. and he collapsed (on crutches but he’s still like dead weight) . Doesn’t have any feeling in his legs. Never seen my father like this.
Now we at the DR and they having the ambulance come and get him, said it’s something with his spine and it’s serious

Came on here in '13 for Bred 1 news and got blessed with hella thread gems (never did Reddit or FB etc until like last year). At the time I was in a terrible state of mind, was debating on "leaving" for so long but all I could do was try 1 day at a time. My dad just went thru this from Nov-Dec of last year. He lost 25 pounds and was borderline anorexic, none of his clothes fit him. He had pneumonia, and then once that got drained they found another infection in his lung so they had to make another incision in his back to stick another tube back there. I hated seeing him in that condition, so I only went to visit him twice a week in the hospital.
