If you believe that cannabis boosts creativity, you will enjoy this collection of self-portraits by Bryan Lewis Saunders, an artist exploring that very query.

Each portrait was the product of his brain altered by a different substance. Included in his drug choices are, of course our favorite, Mary Jane (three different forms!), as well as Shrooms, Crystal Meth (yikes), Bath Salts, and a lot of other drugs most of us will never try.

Consider the following:

  • On which drug did he create your favorite piece?
  • Can you draw any conclusions about the drug based on his illustration?
  • Or even better, does this collection tell you anything about drugs as a whole?
Enjoy this interesting exploration! If you’d like to learn more about Bryan or support his work, check out his website.

Also, a grateful hat tip to Diply who originally shared this collection.
