There’s never a good time for an outage. We schedule backups to occur off peak to minimize the possibility of disruption, but in this case a strange issue cropped up that required a little downtime to correct. It’s complicated, and I only understood about half of the problem as it was explained to me, but the team has resolved it in the short term and is already working on a plan to prevent any future recurrence.

Thus far, I believe we’ve had a better uptime record on the new site than we did in the past 12 months on Huddler. There’s still room for improvement, and we intend to do exactly that.

I greatly appreciate everyone’s patience during the outage.
