Thanks Dubby. My original design had Iverson spelled out across the strap of the shoe with thick font stitching. Reebok instead went with a small patch for versatility. Also, the vent on the side of the shoe was smaller and more of an "air scoop" like what you would see on a car.

The pump was not my idea since I didn't know they brought that tech back. At the time of the contest Reebok only used it on retro models.

Thanks man, I really appreciate that. I was just happy that Reebok chose my design, you can imagine my surprise when they called me. I wanted to follow up and ask them if they needed more designs because I definitely did have many more different ones with other players in mind. Didn't go through with asking and it's one of my biggest regrets. Oh well, haha.

I completely agree with you. Don't get me wrong, I like their designs as well but other brands definitely have the potential to shake things up. I always root for the underdog so seeing a company other than Nike / Adidas knock one out the park would be dope. Especially if you had a hand in it.
