it was unforgettable, definitely an experience I'll be looking forward to doing again. I met her family, they all were so welcoming and generous (I even started calling her mom as Mama since she was fine with it, her Ate's were always cooking a meal too so they always wanted me to eat. Even my girl was cooking the the apartel we stayed at

) I didn't spend the whole 400, I only cashed 200 on pesos and I still have 2,000 pesos left over. The people are mad chill and even though everyone stared at me like I was an alien outta this world, I felt comfortable there. My girl was staring mad hard when females stay looking at me and it was cute. It really gave us a chance to do things as a couple that our distance hinders us from accomplishing. Even the simple movie date we had, it was great. I told her that we're vacationing there when she moves back here and we're both working The culture is amazing and some of the food has a Spanish influence so I was familiar with it (menudo, dinuguan, chicharron, flan). Tagalog is an interesting language and I'm slowly learning to understand it too. Thinking about posting a pic soon, maybe.
