Here's a very, very rough outline of our property... Its probably not even that close honestly.  But the house needs to go back behind where it widens, so the front yard gonna be pretty big.

Damn, that's a nice chunk of land. I would probably go the patch route, since you already got some grass. Just place a few patches a few yards apart n let Mother Nature n Father Time do their thing 

Yea man... Making some sacrifices by choosing this spot but check this out... I'll be able to throw a football from my front door into a state park with all kinds of trails and a lake.
