I dont want to make a thread people arent nice to me.
I bought a car last month and four days later it had engine issues they had a full return policy. Out of sheer desperation I bought a car yesterday that I should not have bought.I tested drived car no problem, speeding breaking, reversing all over the neighborhood.Mechanic at the place guns the car and no problem.Family friend who knows cars comes and test drive it no problem
Its a Clean title
I did not do a carfax because I read that car fax aren't factual because accidents take a while to pop on the report.
Sign and buy "as is" spoken partial warranty
Cashier check whole amount.
Drive off the lot
5 minutes driving away the car jerks and clunks( sounds like transmission)
SMH
Return to the dealer
He gets in it does the same thing
says that "blah blah" go to a mechanic I use and he will fix it I got you no problem"
Today is the second day and they still havent found out what is going on.
I know its bad because it stalled me and if it was something simple they would have figured it out by now. I know its the ****** because its a maxima and max have ****** issues.I already know that even after his mechanics "fix" it I will have further problems because out of all the nissans without ****** issues I but the one with it.
I know I am screwed because I bought "as is".
I know I have no legal rights because of the "as is".
I can accuse them of knowing that there was a transmission issue because they sold it to me but then I would have to prove they knew(impossible). I asked them repeatedly about the transmission because I knew about Nissan ****** issues because of the forums, so the whole don't ask don't tell thing wouldn't count.
Please be nice to me I was frustrated and made a stupid decision and went against my own gut. But other than picketing outside of his establishment everyday what can I do.
L's will be taken but any suggestions will do.
