I mean, placing the lace lock at the bottom was done originally. I personally think it looks better down there. You can use it, but it doesn't really serve as a major function imo.

The lace lock is supposed to show and not be covered by the laces. It's supposed to LOCK the laces so they stay in place and not unravel, so in the pic that she posted, they should actually be reversed.

Pull the knot tight against the lock creating a point of leverage.

If you put the lock on the opposite end it doesn't do anything.

yeah you're right, I was thinking of the V's with the plastic piece, but in all the pics the lace lock isn't usually covered though. It really doesn't serve a purpose though.
