Found myself on a party bus to a strip club/country bar on the state line between WA and ID on Friday.

Today was going halfway decent too.. The lack of respect for me as a person here is so low.

So I've gone into how I interviewed for a job for the company I work for back in July before right? So without going deep into the details, they faded me. First they said that I hadn't been there long enough cue you have to be there a year, I interviewed at 11.5 . Then they said you need two licenses, I already had one and got the second three weeks after the interview. Told them that an all they said was ok. A total of 13 weeks go by and then an announcement is made that someone else got the job. A person who doesn't even have said license... Then today they send me a formal rejection letter? For what reason?

Lol at what the generic rejection letter says... "more closely meets the requirements" when not only did I meet all the requirements you hired someone that didn't meet them at all.
 
Yeah I don't think i'm logging today as a sick day, more of a work from home day as i'm as active on the phone and email as if I was at work.

Nah not even, cause I didnt even meet the "years" requirement but we all know thats BS and can be disregarded. But the fact that they gave a laundry list of reasons to what I needed to do, which did, only to give the job to someone who doesnt even meet the requirements...... Why string me along for 13 weeks, I mean I work here, you could have easily not interviewed me, or told me a long time ago that you werent giving it to me. I just expect some courtesy.

Wouldnt do anything I dont think, its really at will employment and they can hire whoever they choose. It would just make me look like I'm whining. Still pissed as all hell though.

they handled it poorly. my guess they kept you in the loop is because, should you get the position, they would have to find someone else to fill yours - which can mean putting another job opening request, have it approved, go through hr, hr posts job description and start the hiring process all over again

The thing is, my department has a very poor retention rate. Theres like three open spots right now. Who knows why I'm still here.

I just got another rejection email from them for another job that I was also qualfifed for. It says "Dear Candidate". I applied through my employee login, you know I work here, dear candidate? For real?
