Anybody know how to get rid of this new thing on Chrome where if you open a new tab, it shows your 8 most visited web sites?

One of mine is a porn site, I can't be having that pop up everytime I use this thing, other people use it too

isn't there an x in the top right of every box that allows you to remove it?

I apprecaite man for real. Most people are on their "Just be thankful you have a job" steeze, which I do understand but if I really hate it here does that really matter?

^Do something else then. I know it's easier said than done and not sure if you said you started looking for another job or not but complaining without offering a solution won't help. Maybe you can start reading up on other things you might want to do and/or find someone experienced in that field you can sit down with and explore options and learn about their experiences.

And if it's more of the people that are making you unhappy than the job itself a lateral move couldn't hurt.

I'm happy at my job now but I'm always looking for something better. I have a meeting with someone in the secret service next week. Just an informal meeting to learn about what other job opportunities are out there in different government departments in DC. The guy is a friend of a friend who set it up for me. I'm a little bit intimidated meeting with someone in the secret service I can't lie but it can't hurt and even if it doesn't lead to a new job I think I'll come out having learned something.

Good luck with your situation though. At least you have NT to get you through the bad work days.

Yea I just feel that one shouldnt settle with being miserable...especially with a job they hate...I know its easier said then done but still try to get yourself out that situation

I have been looking, just havent gotten anything to come of it yet. Its a combination of both, but its like 75% the job itself. I do want to work in the industry and have been working towards establishing myself in it, acquiring licenses and specializations and whatnot. I agree with the statement that theres always something better out there, even if I was to get another job, I would still be looking to get above that. Theres levels to this.

Yeah if they blocked NT at work I would totally lose it, its basically all I have.
