seriously, if the reps system doesn't change, all the regular NTer will get there eventually.
Everybody has more reps,
everybody's rep "value" increases
So reps gives more rep,
etc. etc. etc.
If we're a true community, we shouldn't to it for the reps, right? Reps are nice, and I'm not going to lie, I do check my reps, but I don't post something just for the purpose of getting reps. It's nice to know some value what you have to say, but don't make it the driving force for you to participate here.

Just watched Black Swan for the first time, didn't know what to expect going into it so I'm not even mad.
What are your meditation set-ups like? I just sit in any room with my yoga mat and vibe out but I want to get into focusing on images/plants as well as get some scents burning or something. any help is appreciated.

I agree with you.
Reps don't really mean your level of implication in the community.
I don't judge a NT by the number of reps he has and I don't think it was meant for that anyway.
Reps are cool and all, but in the end, it's a number that doesn't mean much.
