I did that, but as soon as I plug it in it says "iTunes can't connect to "So and So's iPhone because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter passcode on iPhone before it can be used with iTunes"

I took the SIM out and turned the phone off... plus its been sitting in my apartment for like almost a month now

it could have a bad ESN. if you're planning to use it with the same carrier, it's useless. if it's not unlockable for other carriers, it's useless as well.

but a restore through itunes and a simple ESN check couldn't hurt.


edit: VV damn. haven't kept up with OF in a minute, but still. :\
