Coworker is now the first person I know to suffer the consequences of "casual sports betting." He's one of those dudes that does those random parlays on FanDuel or whatever always bragging about his wins. Come to find out last year he won 5gs but lost 5900. He said he still has to pay taxes on the 5gs and can't do the standard deduction now and has to itemize his deductions which that amount doesn't come near the standard deduction amount. Instead of getting a lil something back he owes on taxes now. Boy stressed it's sad but funny too.
