do you think it, if you went back to most any point in human history to conduct such a survey amongst the men & women of that era, really would be a vastly different response?

modern times has exacerbated the ting for sure but given the context of the hypothetical ‘it’s not looking good bruv’ regardless of the time period & irrespective of self esteem; most men (even today with the average woman being overweight) find most women physically attractive enough whereas w/women it’s basically the polar opposite finding most men unattractive (at least at face value without getting to know or infer the status of a guy)

i get the meme of all the headwinds/problems w/men these times but the facts been the facts

Fun fact: I started this thread on Feb 10 2012 and today it is Feb 21 2025

13 years ago I complained about drinks being offered with no price. I was married with no kids.

Now I have two daughters (12 and 5 years old) at our dinner table and it just happened again last night at a restaurant.

My dog is one of those always happy goofy very nice dogs BUT let him see ai Tom hanks on tv and the dude went nuts.

I’ve never heard him growl and bark like that until he saw ai young Tom hanks looking at him through the tv.
