man I hate to admit it but I enjoy being petty...so anyway I work for a big pharma company and I introduce my boss to my sister who works for an even bigger pharma company.... he straight up asks her if she can get her son a job because hes graduating in 2025... and she doesn't know what to say and says yes sure send me your sons resume... I told her straight up like yo don't do my boss any favors until I get promoted and shes like ya aite bet.... he asks me again the status on his sons resume so I tell my sister and shes like ya I need to know specifically the position his son is applying for.... so now this Friday its casual Friday at work and my manager comes in forgetting that its casual Friday and looks at me like bro what are you wearing.... meanwhile I got a button up with a white T shirt under showing with the button up shirt unbutton... he looks at me like I don't know if that shirt is appropriate and I say I've been wearing this all the time with no problem... apparently he forgets its casual Friday where its ok to wear that.... apparently my manager has gotten warnings on my coworker dressing like trash wearing a t shirt, boots and jeans to work.... so it was never on me but he doesn't want to hear crap from the HR... I didn't want to be petty and say I dress better than you and my coworker and you want to call me out,,, so instead I was like aite bet I'm a go to HR and ask them.... I ask them and they say they said my clothes are ok and when I was at my desk my manager walks by and was like Oh I forgot it was Friday so its all good... right then and there I am like you are so dumb but I just let it slide and ain't say nothing.... I did button up my shirt all the way so my white tee wasn't showing just to not have problems... he was like why you do that its all good I told him I don't want you to complain and he ain't say nothin lol...but ya man ain't going to help him or his son out on getting a job from my sisters company.... I ain't even going to ask her and if he asks me the status I'm a just be like her company has a budget and is not hiring at the moment
