Just saw she's a weird scientologist...
Circling back around to this comment like I said, I can't concern myself with which illogical, destructive belief system someone subscribes to, but as far as the Danny Masterson stuff, this was nice to see yesterday:

Don't blame Chase. Unless you got the funds to cover the check in case it bounces, a check WILL be put on hold. Its been that way for DECADES. Get that direct deposit. Avoid paper checks at all costs.

1. They just give you the money in good faith. If for some reason that check doesn't go through, they'll take the money back.
2. Was this check that got put on hold around about the same amount as the ones you mobile deposited?

I only deposited 1 check & it’s on hold.

Methodical Management Methodical Management I know I need to pay to stop the ads, but this is ridiculous. And, no. That blue arrow in the upper right doesn't do anything

That's clearly a glitch. That format of ad is only supposed to appear in the footer slot, where the arrow will minimize/dismiss it.

If you continue to see it, please send me a PM and we can use a debug link to pinpoint the source.

One of the most frustrating developments of online display advertising (besides user tracking), is how the need for flexibility in ad sizing/format has resulted in inadequate sandboxing that leads to the occasional malfunction/escape like what you experienced.
We know that not everyone has the means to pay a subscription fee, and if anything I'd prefer to reduce the presence of display ads on the site, so we're continuing to explore alternative means of covering the site costs.

Affiliate links are one of the least intrusive options. Due to the inefficiencies of display advertising and the increased use of bots throughout the web, quite a few webstores have begun offering commissions programs to anyone who will bring in sales. We've implemented technology that allows us to benefit from purchases made to participating retailers through unmodified, direct links posted in the forums (i.e. not URL shortened, taken from third parties that are already directed to someone else's referral ID, etc.) Top relevant merchants include Nike.com (the website only, not the apps), New Balance, eBay, Fanatics.com, Finishline.com, End Clothing, Converse, Best Buy, DTLR, and Asics.

It usually only amounting to a couple of bucks per day right now, but I personally would prefer to use something like that to pay the bills instead of display ads, since link sharing can be helpful and relevant when it's unforced and community-driven.
In general, though, most ad alternatives are WORSE than ads. We're vehemently opposed to licensing member content for AI training, unlike reddit.

This to say: our team uses the site with ads like most users. We want to give everyone the best experience possible and we're working every day to that end.
