GameStop is on a collision course with closure. As the world leans more toward digital media, consoles and accessories won’t be enough to keep the lights on. I haven’t set foot in one since pre-pandemic. I’d be shocked if the next generation of consoles still offer disc readable versions, car industry already phased out them out, gaming industry is next.

Especially when these consoles only come with 1 TB on the hard drive, 400 GB's of which is committed to preloaded material that can't be deleted and installing 2 games fills in the other 600 GB's.
