Thinking about mounting my TV. It's only 39". I have concerns about finding the proper stud in the wall and mainly nailing somewhere I shouldn't nail. Any tips?

FAM!!!!! Yo, I have a 50” in the bedroom that my wife wants mounted, I’ve been kicking the can down the road for just shy of two years because of that same thing. I’m scared that I get it mounted and it’s all gravy for a little bit, then one of us comes from work and the Samsung is on the floor along with good pieces of the wall.

This video was helpful. I used a magnet to locate where the screw in the stud is so I feel pretty good locating it.

unfortunately Not. if I remember correctly, I was on a sabbatical from Ballin and sneakers for a few years. if I had seen them and was only active during that period, I might have gotten them. were they true retros or poor remasters?

the time that I was starting to get back in the game was with the Adidas TS and Jordan 2012s. so I guess, I missed my chances a few years late. I also liked the 2012s Jordans. but I guess being gone too long from the game made me a bit rusty on even considering getting new shoes. last pair I had pre-sabbatical were the the Nike Kobe 2s just after my newly purchased Nike Air Max 360 BB were stolen.

I was actually planning for stockx to do type seller fees promo, so the prices on the OW 2's would come down. They did the exact opposite for obvious, so I didn't spend any money. I don't do the Black Friday's thing anyway b/c I'm contrary.

Last pair I had pre-sabbatical were the the Nike Kobe 2s just after my newly purchased Nike Air Max 360 BB were stolen.

They were okay but of course they didn’t have actual React “gel” in their cushioning like the originals. The materials could’ve been way better but the price was low enough that you could live with it. I only would’ve used them for casual wear and minimal hooping. There’s better stuff out there for that.

I go on those shoe breaks as well. Too much shoes and I hate leaving other hobbies in limbo.

Well had the interview for the manager position two weeks ago and the background check was the deciding factor. Ended up not getting the position due to it.

Going to have to shift gears if this is going to hinder me long term.

Nike has done a sh***y job with Converse's back catalog, there's so many gems they could retro smh.

Now that’s really sad. I’d love to see those exact ones in a full size run for men’s. Damn Nike....smh.

I used to work retail as well. Was making crap. Asked my manager what could be done to increase my pay rate. She said the only option she had for me was to make me a key carrier which would be a 1 dollar raise. But she warned me that a background check had to be completed and if anything came back, I'd be fired. And I had a misdemeanor about 5 years ago at that point? Maybe 7 years. Either way, I said nah, cant afford to get fired over a dollar an hour. Was a huge blow to what plans I was making in terms of moving up there. Managers still liked me and pushed for me to advance, but I knew it was never gonna be the safe move after that.

See if you can hit up a temp agency. Coworker at my retail store put me on to Aerotek. Got a job through them at a call center and have been with the same company since but making advancements in the company.
