the thread about nothing...

I been seeing this dude become the authority of travel or not on social media lol. Until his posts I actually don’t think I knew the nba had different verbiage than other levels on the “gather” step. I thought the travel rules were universal “in writing” but in reality it’s called a little different from level to level.
This one is tricky to me because even though he’s jumping on his first step, it’s a real jump, which seems like you shouldn’t be able to land with the ball - regardless if it’s his first step- but I guess I’m wrong. Kind of stupid anyway because I don’t think a player would really do that in a game ?

At this point, I think that's you in the video. Doing stuff just to start an argument and derail productivity.

Try that anywhere in life and you'll need a lawyer or boxing gloves depending on where the court is.
Yea, that's me.

But to your last point.

Creating an argument doesn't invalidate the legality of a move.

Sure, if you did that in the real world, anybody would assume it's a travel.

Some moves simply LOOK awkward but are technically legal.

Like how many people view Up and Unders and how people initially viewed Euro Steps.

Not in the mood for your shenanigans. You just like to argue.

His footwork on the catch is simply part of the catch.

This is a common move that he simply EXAGGERATED with a jump.

Remember I told yall before, the only difference between a STEP and a JUMP is the height of the jump.

Steph is "literally" doing it in damn near every catch here. SLow it down if you must.

Lol not the same

I’m saying when it’s a true, authentic JUMP, seems like you shouldn’t be able to land with the ball even if you have another step. But hey I guess I’m wrong.
Pretty sure there was a clip of a couple kids on a playground where kid did it pretty smooth where he killed his dribble and looked like he was going up for a shot off the first step but then landed and then lay’d it up. I remember trying it on my driveway hoop and my body/mind wouldn’t let me jump on the first step lol

So think about when you are catching a basketball and using a jump to square up to the bucket. For it to be a legal move, that "step" (or jump) has to happen as soon as the ball is caught or anytime before.
Again, it being a jump doesn't make it illegal, the timing does.

Yea, I think we have created that rule in our heads.

If two steps are legal, two one-footed jumps should also be legal because again, the only difference between a step and a one-footed jump is the height.

SImple test.

1. Stand at the elbow facing the basket at a 45* angle.
2. While WALKING, take two LONG steps to the basket and shoot a layup using the outside hand.
3. Next, do the SAME thing but instead of WALKING, RUN while doing the layup.
4. Last, do the SAME thing but instead of RUNNING, JUMP twice while doing the layup.

It is legit the same animation. All three are perfectly legal.

Just in general I think people should never gift anyone just a gift card.
A gift card is what you buy when you can’t think of a real gift or just don’t care. That’s the impression it gives.
I understand where you’re coming from, however I feel it depends on certain variables. Such as:

Is this a gift card to a specific place the person really loves and would appreciate? Is it individualized to their own personality? Does it show that you know them well on a personal level?

If so, this is neither an indication of not putting any thought into a gift or not caring. It shows that you know them on a personal level and you’re aware of their own personal interests.

Imagine having children becoming snakes : that's great, I mean they are your children, you did the best before for them, so they can know assure your protection

Chatty movies but with action : maybe the best ones
Well known and coming in mind : Pulp Fiction, Snatch...

A Swedish study I have just invented to prove I am right learn us this :

With a lot of women, who are attractive, we feel like teenagers
With some women who got great personality like kids
With some who have both like adults

Be a teen is quite about find women seductive, but as children we were about emotions
Now we want it all

There's a woman, as I saw her daily and have no other choice, I don't think I would do anything, I would be too shameful if it goes wrong. She's not only beautiful, she got charm and she's very humble. Don't remember if I already saw mask off, so be careful with this
It's pleasant when beautiful people or powerful ones stay humble.
JUST LIKE ME.
:smokin:nerd:

EDIT : Another woman, you find her cool, so you are only about talking and then she tells you she likes strange people. Oh, thanks
Touché.

I replayed GTA 3 and Vice City recently, but San Andreas remastered is tempting
It's also the only one I could play now, so a resmastered version would be perfect :smokin
Especially if they could skip some Zero / The Truth missions and put better ones instead
EDIT : They better delete Zero's Baron Rouge, I swear.
