the thread about nothing...

I don't know, it must depends on optimistic / pessimistic nature. But it's funny to see women are not different to men and shaving hair or beard has a real impact about how they act with us...We're not the only superficial people there

Just heard this quote these days, translated by Google here :

" Life oscilla, like a pendulum, from suffering to boredom " ( Schopenhauer ) and I'm agree with it.
When you want something, you have some desire, some target, aim, objective, fuel. So you're far for boredom, but once you completed all your objectives, it's great, you're satisfied, and then what ? You need new ones, or you're bored.

For the last 5 years, 9 out of 12 months i have worked on average 50 hours per week.

For the last 3 years, I've been consistently told that I work much harder and put in more effort than the person who previously had my position.

And when it came time to reward the hard work and effort displayed via a promotion that was directly related to my current position, they hired someone from the outside.

I'm all the way in my feelings.

I dont think I can keep working there beyond the immediate future.
this is why I stopped giving 100% effort at work. I remember a certain proverb given to me by my cousin more than a decade ago. it said, you can be the most successful individual at work but once you pass away, your equivalent would only be a bouquet of flowers and they move on to your next successor. while investing your time with your family, they would remember you and your legacy.

I remember the movie, it's a very funny one, I think all the " Robin is gay " thing is due to this TV show and this movie, because other appearances of Robin nothing special...

When women prefer you with beard, does that mean you're ugly as possible ?

Like when women always complimenting on only the same aspect every time like if the rest was terrible

True, only 2/5 minutes in the morning when you work, and when you don't work just don't need to know
some men look better with a beard. I don't. women approach me more when I'm shaved and have a nice haircut.

Yes, work is a way to be able to live, not a reason to live for. It is more important to be appreciated. You could be lazy and appreciated and succeed in life. But if you work hard while everybody is hating you, the first error you would make they won't forgive you. And when you're hated it influences your reputation, and in this era a bad reputation could destroy your life. So be sociable, nice with everyone because we never know what tomorrow would be. We might be in need of some help so we need the people. You could play solo as long as you're healthy and young, but the more you're aging the more you're dying, so you need to be more like a strategist

I have more success with a shaved head, and some women told me I was better with beard too
In fact I prefer myself with a shaved head. And I know I'm looking better with some beard. But I also like to shave my beard sometimes, because it changes from the routine, and it is still pleasant to see ourselves sometimes
Funny thing is I'm White but when I shave my head I sometimes could be mistaken for a North African
With my hair it never happens. But shaved hair and beard could lead people to think I'm a Muslim. So it could be a problem as years ago some people both Muslim and not thought I was.
The ones who weren't into Religion were affraid, the ones who were into were friendly, but when people discovered I was not into Religion, the ones who were affraid became more nice and the ones who were friendly just disappear
Shaved dark hair, green eyes, beard, that's it

too many  in this post :smh:

That's how it was at my last job. I'm hoping for better luck at my new one. One manager said they're going to recommend me for a manager position whenever one opens up, the GM said she doesn't think I have the personality to become a manager though.

Don't have a education, so I'm banking on hard work and consistency paying off one day. Hopefully it happens sooner than later though.

speaking of shavers, I just ran out of replacement blades a couple of days ago and couldn't find a cheap replacement. funny how expensive the blades are now that I resolve to looking for good disposable ones that are not too expensive or are on sale. the shaving gel that I'm using now is amazing and might stick with it than the conventional foam that I normally use. I only shave every 3 days.

Never used a razor on my face, it has always been growing out enough to use an electric to trim it up. Haven't been baby faced in longer than I can remember

I normally do but when it’s important I set an alarm to make sure I don’t miss it
No idea what I was trying to remember :lol
