Shooting victims from the Garlic Festival are filing a lawsuit against the festival organizers. Saying not enough fencing to keep people safe. Really?!?

Same thing I am wondering about the old woman who was body slammed by a Popeyes employee. Can she sue Popeyes? If she can only sue the employee, it's not like he has money to pay for damages.

Do you think she should sue Popeyes because of the employee body slamming her?

I just hate how everyone is finding anything to sue now. No matter how much fence the organizers put up it won’t stop anyone from shooting. The shooter was already outside of the festival. If someone walk into a mall or restaurant and start shooting is everyone going to sue the mall and restaurant owners? They might as well stay home and never go out.

In these examples, Popeyes and the Garlic Festival are not responsible for the incidents. People were at the wrong place at the wrong time, and **** happens. But I can understand why they'd sue, they figure as victims they should get something out of it. Ultimately it should come out of the insurance companies pockets, who I think are among the biggest crooks in society.

Everyone wants to play the victim role. Yea it’s unfortunate that they got shot but everything you do is a risk. Soon we won’t have any festivals or activities because of it.

I do agree that insurance companies are a scam and the way they categorize things to make people pay more is a bunch of BS.

That generic Travis Scott is just weird imo. Like c'mon create your own identity, cats need to stop living thru other people's images.
