the thread about nothing...

When did you guys start drinking?

A friend of mine talking about his coworker dropped her 14-15 year old daughter (HS freshman) at a house party with 50+ people. The party got out of hand and people punched holes in the walls and tables were flipped. Apparently the father of the kid throwing the party was home the whole time and the party only stopped cause he kicked everyone out once it got crazy.

That's so crazy to me. I didn't ever really have a drink until I was a couple months away from being 18. I certainly never had my parents drop me off at a house party.

Had my first drink when I was 10, was suppose to be a lesson and it was. Mess was disgusting. But for my 16th Bday, had some friends that were teenage alcoholics, got me drunk as hell off of E&J and some MD 20/20.

First taste of beer I had was when I was 7. My dad left his Budweiser laying around while we were watching tv together and when he got up I took a sip. Almost puked immediately

Never was a big drinker. A couple of beers at hangouts/parties and I'm done.

Haven't had a beer in over 5 months lol.

I meant like actually drinking, not just a little taste. And with friends, not family. I know my parents probably would've killed me if they caught me drinking as a freshman in high school.

8th grade at a kick back my older brother threw. I was the youngest their but it was fun. Had Smirnoff and I was cool, then I had an incredible hulk and I was done

My family/extended family is really laid back about drinking. If I wasn't uptight about drinking growing up I could've been drinking around the house as early as 15.

Their philosophy is that when you drink young and under supervision, you'll be more disciplined and drink more safely when you're older and among friends.

benzilla427 benzilla427 I'm actually surprised, filipino families aren't usually uptight about drinking, in my experience. I know my own pops was a drinking vet by age 15 :lol

Oh my parents would've been completely fine if I was drinking at like a family event or something. But going to a friend's house/party and getting ****faced? As a freshman? Nah.

My family also doesn't really drink much which I know is pretty atypical for Filipinos. As my cousins and I have grown up the family has gotten a little more open to alcohol which is nice. I still have some Titas that think having a 2 or 3 beers at a party makes you an alcoholic though

My aunt still thinks this way and always tells her sons to don't drink as much. They're in their mid to late 30s lol.

My family isn't big like some of yours so drinking consisted more of wine and brandy. Lolo was a big fan of a glass of brandy in the evening.

Is there a way to send an anonymous message on Instagram. Tryna warn this dude he's getting used.

My handwriting has regressed from not having to write as much. This girl who sat next to me in my 10th grade history class told me my writing is neat and used to ask me to copy these letters she wrote that were in Spanish.
