the thread about nothing...

Man

Coming in at closing time/after closing is one of the most inconsiderate things customers do

They’ve become accustomed to being able to do so, AND still get full service, where I work so now they just do it comfortably

Like 2 years ago, we moved the closing time up an hour, and they still managed to come at the new closing time, but were never able to come at that time before, with the later hours

I hate people

When I worked retail we rounded people up after 10 or so minutes post closing. Registers are literally closing...you can't pay for your ****.

Oh like one of those places that collect cans and pay out in cash?

Yessir

You’d think with how bad they need $$ (cause most of them live off of it), they’d try getting in before closing, to not risk missing out on payment (of course they can return the following day but you know)

Damn people make a living off this? I used to do this when I lived across the street from a grocery store and they had a station to collect. So it was convenient, but it's too much of a hassle otherwise.

Its cans, wire, aluminum etc

Some people come 3-4 times a day and make $200-$300, not always tho

It’s a metal recycling plant

And it’s the same people that always do it, so they know well enough about out closing hours, they just choose to wait until the end of the day, every day
It’s a simple psycho answer. It can vary but honestly to avoid chatty patty’s and hostility. It’s the new age everybody feels everybody owes them something or you are taking from them. Even if they do the same. Those people you encounter are maybe PEACEFUL compared to the other people they are avoiding. Maybe just maybe I’m right.

Interesting...
This is something that's been on my mind lately. If I have a piece of foil rolled up into a ball that has food particles like cheese stuck on it, can it be recycled?

Technically yes, they wont look too much into it unless you have a truckfull or something

Quiero Pizza ! Some grilled chicken on a supreme with double cheese and extra sauce crust cooked a lil more.

I didn't mean as far as "scamming" the recycling center, if that's what you were getting at. I meant does the equipment have a way to extract the non-aluminum particles that are stuck?
