the thread about nothing...

I want to go back to school to learn programming. But currently not in the position to do so.

Start with an online class on udemy.

Ton of choice on programming language and they are sold for cheap.

You can complete the class at your convenience

I'm about to take my *** back to school. I'll be 27 next month and have only did one semester of college and felt it just wasn't for me, had a 3.8 when I decided to leave. At this point I feel I missed out on a ****load of opportunities and I rather take that step now rather than never doing so and hating myself for it.

Any of you guys with similar stories of going back to school while older ?

Just do it my guy. I'm 24, went back to school after nearly 5 years since my last semester in college last fall to pursue an associate's to become a PTA and ultimately switched to a DPT. I won't graduate until I'm at least 30. Plan on living at home until I'm 32-33 to pay off my loans before I move out. Do I wish I could accelerate the process or have gone back to after I graduated HS knowing what I know now? Sure, but it took me being out in the real world for 5 years holding down different jobs in different fields to realize what I really wanted out of life.

I don't regret anything. I've grown so much in those years and I now have a more defined purpose and path (as I'm sure you do now). You're still so damn young. Go watch Gary Vee's videos around patience, age, and long term perspective. When you realize how young you really are you can be a lot more patient.

Play for the long term. Don't worry about mistakes or "wasted time". You've got time now. More than you know. Just go.

does it take you a long time to eat a watch or something? get one of those microwaveables for less time consumed.

Grabbed 2 slices of pizza for lunch...

Had it from this place before but when I went, it was like 4 p.m. and I could tell the slices had been sitting for a while. I wasn't expecting it to be good and it wasnt..as expected.

Went thwre again today to give their fresh pizza a shot...still trash.

Lesson learned.
