Is he gonna pay you to do this? Seems like a pretty easy project to do and get paid for. Takes basic internet research skills.

Edit: if he actually is good at the running of a gym it might be a great chance for you to earn side money helping him administratively handle stuff. If he doesn’t already have the funds necessary to start one though then it’s not going to happen. Real estate lease, renovation, initial operating costs etc will eat him alive.

He wasn't going to pay me. And I don't have the time between school / work / other consulting gigs at school. And pretty sure he could not afford me.

We talked about his project a year ago. Doubt he realizes the cash he will need to get off the ground.

He told me his business plan will be done in October. I'll have a look and let him know.

I don't mind looking at his stuff and ponting him in the good direction but clearly i won't do the whole thing.

Anyway that's what i told him and he said he was going to work on something of his side and ask me for guidance.

We'll see. I wish him success but 6 months seems about right

Why? What makes you want to go? I’ve been there twice, pretty boring city. Housing is as bad as the Bay Area, Ca., or worst. There’s a lot of homeless and druggies there because of it.
